We have been honored with opportunities to equip leaders across the globe with principles found within Rock Foundation. The general theme and content of these events remains true to the core foundational truths, but our International events tend to attract church leaders primarily. Since these events are equipping leaders, we primarily focus on group teaching, rather than one-on-one discipleship.
FOUNDATION
LIBERIA
One of our attendees at the January 2018 Rock Gathering in Pittsburgh was a pastor from Liberia. We were blessed by his presence and contribution as was he with ours. His name was Andrew Gombay. After the weekend was over, he approached the Rock Gathering team with a request. He testified that the work that God was doing through Rock was not contained only to the US, but that He is also moving among the church across the globe, including Liberia. He continued to share that he has been sensing and seeing the same things that we are in the Bride here in the US. He shared that the type of work that God is using Rock Gathering for is something that he has been praying for in Liberia. He asked us to come to Liberia and minister in the same capacity there. He said he would be able to have 200 to 300 pastors come together for an event like this.

Over the course of the next few months, after discussing this as a team and seeking the Lords direction, we felt that the Lord would have us make a trip to Liberia.
Upon arriving there we found it just as Andrew had described. We had around 250 church leaders in attendance for 2 full days. We were told that the level of attention and attendance was remarkable as events like this frequently offer food or even stipends at end of the day to keep the people. Ours were only supplied chicken and rice for lunch and stayed the duration of the day. We had a very powerful time of teaching and discipling this group in the ways of true church function by the power of the Spirit , in the way the God intended.

During our time there, we also were blessed with governmental favor. To begin with, we were given a police escort for the hour long drive from the airport to the location in Monrovia where we would be staying and conducting the event. Then, during the event, we received a call from a prominent Senator stating that he would like to meet with us. We had a meaningful meeting with him, discussing the needs of the country and what we see God wanting to do. He expressed his approval and gave his blessing on the work that we were doing and offered to collaborate in the future for a public event. We were able to pray with and for him in his office.
We sense that there is further work to be done in Liberia at some point. We sense that God would have us continue to train leaders in Liberia in the church, in community, in business and in government.
